Looking Forward

Looking forward to what I want to say.
I look differently that I felt today
Tomorrow I will be stronger
That’s the truth.
It stayed with me all through my youth.
You can’t see it
You can’t touch it.
But I know its there.
You are like an angel
That came from above
Thanks for coming to me
To show me your love.
And I know you will care.
My life isn’t perfect as I step back on what I said before.
I might need to repeat what I wanted to say to you once more.
Sometimes my words might not always be clear
But out of all people you are the one to understand my tears.
I can’t be perfect but you are one to know the truth.
It isn’t easy why I need you to be the person you are.
I have to lean on your shoulder
Because I really want you in my corner.
Know these words are coming from inside my heart
It came from the beginning and its my only start.
This might not be the easiest thing to say.
But words have always been like a puzzle and
Easy for me to stick together in my own way.
And I will get there someday.
You just might need to help me along
Please help me when the world may act like I don’t belong.
I am not perfect and I’ll never quit
Life is a race and I have to make it.
I need to win
Please show me how.
I need to see what the world will allow.
It needs to be
This is all I am and how God made me.
